Not sure why these are sideways.....oh well!
It's hard to believe my baby girl turned 10 a couple of weeks ago. She is wonderful. Such a big help to me and Dave. She celebrated her birthday swimming, eating hot wings(which she requested), and having fun on the lake.
Well it has been almost 2 months since my first surgery. I am feeling so much better! I still feel a little pain in my right side every now and then, but nothing to really worry about.....that's what I tell myself. I still get nervous when I have pain. I take a walk everyday which I really think has made me feel much better. Just getting outside is therapeutic.
We are having a good summer. My kids think I am quite the mean mommy. I am making them do math on Mondays and Wednesdays. Isn't that horrible!!! We missed a couple of weeks when I was sick so we have to make up for it this summer. Its not so bad. It only takes around 30 minutes. Erin is really doing great on the violin. She enjoys playing and I love listening to her. Abby just finished her 2nd year of piano. She is becoming quite the little pianist. Samuel and Erin played soccer this spring. It was a rather strange season. We practiced alot but had very few games. They did great. I love soccer because it forces them to run. They need that exercise!! They had their co-op end of year choir program in May. There is a picture of them above. We had our own little awards program a couple of weeks ago. The kids loved getting certificates for their accomplishments throughout the school year. So that pretty much catches us up to date. We are looking forward to some lazy summer days.
