It's almost over...we hope!

Today I went back to the doctor and he took the drain out. Hallelujah!!!!!!! I was so excited. At first I didn't know if he would. He thought about sending me for another ct scan, but then he decided with such little drainage, he would take it out. It didn't even hurt. I was so afraid it would. So now we just pray that I do not run any fever, have any more pain, or anything else out of the ordinary. I am so excited about getting a good nights sleep tonight. I'm gonna sleep on my sides which I haven't been able to do in a month. So excited about that!!!! It's hard to believe I had the surgery 1 month ago! It has really been a long month.

In other news, we have just a few weeks of school left. The kids {and me too} are so ready to be out for the summer. We have had a really good school year. I have already started buying our books for next year. I will have a 2nd, 4th, and 5th grader. WOW!

I am so ready to be back to normal. I'm so thankful for Dave, my family, my church family, Dave's band parents, and all of my sweet friends who have taken such good care of me. I have been so humbled at the kindness of everyone. Dave has done his jobs and mine. I'm ready to take care of him for a while! My children have had to take alot of responsibility over the last month too. They have been learning to serve others.. a good lesson for them. Thanks for continuing to pray!
